Part two in the series “Why KW” is a look at what you are actually doing in real estate. Are you selling houses, or do you own a business that sells houses?
That questions is going to confuse some of you so let me explain. I would venture to say the vast majority of individuals in the real estate industry sell houses. (Or some other type of property). Meanwhile, there is a segment of us professionals that own businesses that sell houses. My business sells houses, but it also invests, it also recruits, it has multiple streams of income.
Just in the last month I have taken part in Business Planning 2020 (which was focused on more than home sales goals) as well as Agent Financials (how to keep more money in your business through proper planning) These are just two of the enormous amount of ways that KW invests back into their agents and teaches them about long term planning and building a true business that will fund your life.
When you choose a brokerage, think about this…is your brokerage equipping you with the ability to build a business, or just sell houses? One of those paths will secure your future. The other path means the last house you sell is the last check you collect.
